TELK Communications Inc is a multi-faceted audio-visual company specializing in design, sales, installation and service of sound systems, security systems (CCTV), video systems, portable systems and all other A/V needs. Our customers range from Municipalities all over the GTA and beyond, to well known corporations and even the small independent businesses. We take pride in helping our customers meet their needs and their budgets, from a single product to an entire system design and installation.
TELK installations are found in many arenas, recreation centres, community centres, educational institutions, auditoriums, gymnasiums, board rooms, council chambers, houses of worship, retail stores, fitness centres, office buildings, seniors centres, fire halls and more. Through our expertise and relationships with our suppliers, it has enabled us to offer some of the most cost effective audio-visual products and system design solutions from leading manufacturers in the industry.
HISTORY
President and Owner Tom Bandini has been in the Industry for over 40 years. He started with his Diploma from the Radio College of Canada and from there began building and selling speakers across Ontario. As municipalities grew and expanded in the 1980's and 1990's, so did the number of recreational buildings and offerings and Tom was right there filling their audio visual needs. After gaining valuable knowledge in the industry, he branched off, expanded his scope and started TELK Communications Inc in 1991. As a pioneer in the industry. you would be hard-pressed to find a Community Centre or Arena in the GTA that did not have their original sound system designed or installed by Tom himself. It brings TELK great pride when customers call looking to upgrade an original system which was installed by them over 20 years ago!
Now in their 32nd year, the company has still managed to remain family owned and operated. They have enjoyed serving the recreation industry as well as a wide variety of other commercial businesses.
